Happy Easter!!

Saturday afternoon we went to Dons moms house for Easter. Everyone was there minus a few cousins. It wsas good to see family members that we dont see that often and catch up with them. We had a nice dinner and the kids had an Easter egg hunt. They were running around so cute and they were so excited to find the eggs. Here is a short video of some of the action.

They got eggs with candy and they were all happy.I hope you all enjoyed your Easter too.

Clothespin picture holders

I came up with an idea for picture holders, so I tried my hand at it: They are just 3 clothespins that are hot glued together side by side. Be careful not to glue the silver part of the clothespin otherwise it wont open to hold your picture. They stand on the wide end of the clothespin. You cover the front and back with either fabric or scrapbook paper and then tie your ribbons on just to the front of the clothespin. Then you can add any trinkets and any embellishments.They were so easy and there are so many possibilities: Kids crafts, School pictures, New babies, Graduations, Get Well wishes, Birthdays, Pets, Grandparents, Holidays, Sports, Anniversaries, Mothers/Fathers day etc. I guess you could even do a gift card holder or money holders~~Just put the gift card in a nice decorative envelope and attach it to the clothespin. It is just a little something to hopefully brighten somebodys day!!

They are really cute and easy so have fun with making your own clothespin holders. :-)

Bracelet Holder

I have been searching for a very unique bracelet holder. I love wearing braclets and I need a place
to keep them. My sister made me this little quilt piece and I think the ladies on it are just cute. I decided to kinda make something to kinda go with it. I had a bud vase around the house, a round ball for a head, cut down an old stick, added some hair and designed a face. Here ya go. I just have to pick up the head, and grab the bracelet and I am off. I think she turned out cute, a little weird, but I like her, LOL

Molly and Tyler

Jessica had Tyler's 4 yr and Molly's 9 month pictures taken. I love the feet one, I think it is so cute!!
Molly is just way to cute here too and I love her brown hair.
Tyler's picture is in the header and here is one of them together. We cant wait to see them in March hopefully!!

Earring holder

I have this issue with liking bling. It doesn't have to be expensive,  just cool and different, that's the way I like it. I had been looking for a different kind of earring holder, so that I can see what I have and not have to dig through the drawer to find 2 earrings that match ya know?? My daughter gave this to me at Christmas time. I wanted to use it as a earring holder. I got a string of chain with some hoops to hang the earrings on and I hot glued it to the metal tree. I made drapes in the chain so that I can hang them on it easily. It turned out perfectly and I love it in my room. I can easily see what earrings I want and it takes like 2 seconds to get them on and off. I just lay the post earrings in the bottom of it and that works great too. I do have some bracelets that unclip so I found that I can clip them right to the tree trunk and way I can get to those easily too. I really liked the way it turned out and now I have a earring/bracelet holder too. I like to wear necklaces and bracelets. As I look back, I always did as a kid too.  I wanted something different and unique so this works perfectly.

Guess what Kyla lost?

Her first tooth!! Her tooth fairy gave her $4.00!! I tried to tell her not to give so much cuz then they expect it for all other teeth and.....she has lots of teeth to loose but she didnt listen, LOL Now Kyla has 2 more teeth loose!! LOL
So....if anyone needs a loan just come to Kyla, Miss money bags!! LOL
