Spring is here!!

Well, Spring is here and with it comes new things:
Getting out of the van has a whole new meaning now!! New T-ball sets, pink for Kyla and red for Kaleb:Kim thought that she was being smart by buying them each their own batting thing, so they won't fight over it, which worked. But now they each are going....I hit mine farther than yours!! NO, I hit mine farther than yours!! LOL ~~I told her, that is just siblings!!

And........the newest member to be added to our family is............a New Swingset!! To be assembled t-0-m-o-r-r-o-w!!!!

Easter

Easter Sunday, the kids went through their baskets and saw all their goodies. We headed over to Valerie's house for dinner. Allissa hid eggs so that they kids could find them and they had fun doing that. They had so much fun that she re-hid them again. Zac likes the trampoline~~

Valerie proved that she can still ride the unicycle~~Kim can still walk on the stilts without stubbing her toes~~Zac shows us his tricks, he points and walks with his walker, talented huh??And he models his new bunny ears. Zac is all EARS!!! So, we all had a fun and Happy Easter and got home in time to watch Undercover Boss!! LOL

Easter Eve

We have a nice mailman that leaves Jazzi a dog biscuit every day and the kids each a piece of candy so we wanted to do something nice for him. The kids made rice krispie treats, shaped them like eggs and dipped them in almond bark and put sprinkles over them. They turned out pretty cute

and Kim had gotten a GC to Machine Shed, so Kyla addressed the front of the card herself. Saturday night, we went to Grandma's house. Duane, Mary Jo, Jeff and Natalie and Conner were in town. We had a dinner and it was fun. Conner is so cute and so big now and running around.Natalie and Conner~~
Zac has just learned to go up the stairs and he went up Grandma's stairs.Aunt Diane had bubbles and was blowing them for the kids.

Kaleb kept trying to catch them by biting them lol It was a good evening and we all had fun hanging out.

Harp Recital

A few weeks ago, Grandma Chambers had her very first Harp recital. There were about 40 harps involved and there were all ages of people playing. I had no idea the number of people that play the harp. They sounded so pretty altogether.They had some group songs....And they each had a solo.....

They all did a great job but you know who played the best don't you?

Kims ?? th Birthday

Several weeks ago, well.....maybe a month ago ha!! Kim had her birthday party and invited us out for dinner with her and the kids.We all went to Lino's and it was so good. Valerie brought balloons and she got some gifts and a delicious dinner, so it was a good birthday for her. Here are the quests:

Kyla's dance class

Here are some pictures of Kyla's dance class. It was through the Park District.
She likes dance and now takes lessons at the dance academy where Sydney and Katie go. Now with the Olympics we have been watching ice skating, we found and she likes Jessica's old ice skating dress. Tonight she has one of Valerie's old skating dresses on, LOL I bet I will be making some dance dresses for her. She will have a recital this spring and she dances to the song, If your happy and you know it.

Kyla's daddy/daughter dance

Today was Kyla's daddy/daughter dance here in Belvidere. It was put on through the park district. She had been looking forward to this for a few weeks now. She got to sleep in her sponge curlers all last night to get those cute curls. Of course, she had to wear her signature color~~~pink!! Kim also got her a new short white sweater and a new white purse, so she was all set and decked out and ready to dance the night away. She likes to strike several poses!!
Her dad came to pick her up and she was bouncing off the walls.When she arrived home, she came in with balloons, a coursage, and a gift bag of goodies. In her bag was a plastic purse, stickers, socks, a little stuffie and some candy. Her and Shaun were able to get their pictures taken there and they had a lot of fun dancing. I am sure she will be talking about this for awhile. It was nice that she could go with her daddy.
