Earring holder

I have this issue with liking bling. It doesn't have to be expensive,  just cool and different, that's the way I like it. I had been looking for a different kind of earring holder, so that I can see what I have and not have to dig through the drawer to find 2 earrings that match ya know?? My daughter gave this to me at Christmas time. I wanted to use it as a earring holder. I got a string of chain with some hoops to hang the earrings on and I hot glued it to the metal tree. I made drapes in the chain so that I can hang them on it easily. It turned out perfectly and I love it in my room. I can easily see what earrings I want and it takes like 2 seconds to get them on and off. I just lay the post earrings in the bottom of it and that works great too. I do have some bracelets that unclip so I found that I can clip them right to the tree trunk and way I can get to those easily too. I really liked the way it turned out and now I have a earring/bracelet holder too. I like to wear necklaces and bracelets. As I look back, I always did as a kid too.  I wanted something different and unique so this works perfectly.

Guess what Kyla lost?

Her first tooth!! Her tooth fairy gave her $4.00!! I tried to tell her not to give so much cuz then they expect it for all other teeth and.....she has lots of teeth to loose but she didnt listen, LOL Now Kyla has 2 more teeth loose!! LOL
So....if anyone needs a loan just come to Kyla, Miss money bags!! LOL

Silly Straws

Kyla and Kaleb got these for Christmas but not from me. I remember my kids having them so I was so excited to show them how they worked. I said "Oh these are really cool!!" Afterall I have always liked the quirky stuff. The glasses didn't exactly fit as well, but they did get the idea about how they work. I don't think that they were as impressed about them as I made it sound. They haven't asked to use them again since! LOL But then I could see alot of spilled drinks with them anyways!!

Baby crown

Valerie wanted a crown for Bailey on top of her car carrier.  I used the silver pipe cleaners to lift it off of the carrier instead of sewing it right to the carrier. I shaped them into the 8 crown pieces and 2 heart pieces and a long one for the bottom.
For the pink beading, I took a string of maybe 6-8 beads at a time and sewed them to the pipe cleaner and sewed the pipe cleaner to the carrier at the same time nice and tight.
 For the silver part, I found a piece of trim with sparkles on it and I sewed the trim to the silver pipe cleaner and to the carrier also nice and tight. It worked perfectly and it never came loose at all. The carrier just happen to say Princess on it so she will be know as Pincess Bailey!! LOL
