Our new house plaque

I saw this on Pinterest and thought it was so cute. It fits our house pretty good. I used scrapbook paper, cut out the letters and decoupaged them to a wood board and trimmed it out and it was really fun to make.

 It hangs outside our back door with 2 little Scotties on it!!

Fun in the Sun and the Water

Don was doing some watering and well....the kids just could not keep out of the water. LOOK at the fun that they had!! Bailey can only go backwards so she didnt get near the water.

They had fun playing in water in their clothes on and they were all soaked but they had tons of fun and they do dry off LOL!!

My new toaster

The other day our toaster died right in the middle of toasting Dons toast, lol Kim said that she would buy one when she was at the store. So they are there and she is looking at one with a retractable cord etc and all of a sudden Kaleb spotted the "Perfect" toaster up high.. He looked around and on the bottom of the shelf he found one in its box. They bought it and he had me close my eyes and he put this box in my hands. I open them and this is what I saw!!! YAY!! I was thrilled to death!!

Yep, that's right a PURPLE toaster and oh, it is soo pretty, I love it!!

So of course, I had to get pictures of Kaleb with the toaster and Kim is going Oh no!! LOL

So....in honor of Kaleb finding me the "perfect" toaster, we decided that he could have the very first piece of toast from the new Purple toaster!! And it works great too. Thanks Kaleb!!

Our day at the Park

The other day I was watching the kids and I wanted to do something different than going to the pool and it wasnt as HOT that day. So we packed a lunch and headed off to the park. Of course, people on the other table had McDonalds and they are like Grandma, why cant we have Mc Donalds? LOL Well....cuz we are having the real picnic experince, I dont think they were buying it LOL

This was a park that we had never been to before and as soon as we pulled in they both about died when they saw  this. The said OH, that is just like the one that cousin Brian played with us on when he took us to the lake. As soon as they ate, they ran right over to it. I was instructed to get them going really really fast, cuz they love it that way. Alrighty, I got them going and they said that Cousin Brian did it awhole lot faster!! I said Well, Cousin Brian is alot younger than I am LOL They did have so much fun on it though even though it wasnt as fast as Cousin Brian goes!!

Played some more.....

And by now, we were getting warm so what else cools you off like some good ice-cream from the Dairy Ripple. It was sooo good and it turned out to be a fun day at the park.

Bailey needs a cell phone

The other day, Kim and the kids were having lunch with Valerie and the kids. Kim said that this might be a sign that Valerie is on the phone a lot. The minute Valerie put the phone to her hear, Bailey did the same thing LOL Isn't that too funny?? I told Valerie that Bailey needs a baby cell phone, LOL

4th of July weekend

On the 4th of July, Kim, Heather and Gayle were running in a 2 mile run at 7:00 Am. She had to be there by 6:30 and it was about 30 min away so it was a early morning for us.

Kim ran 2 miles in 18:08. She was 84th overall, 29th female and 3rd in her age group!!!!! She was very happy about cutting 2 min off of her time from 2 months ago!!! Her next race is the State Street Mile August 4th.
Next, Kyla and Kaleb were in the Cherry Valley parade with Kaleb's preschool.

The wiener mobile was in the parade too.

Plus a min wiener mobile powered by dad, LOL It was really cute!!

Kim and the kids went downtown to watch fireworks and Don and I went to his moms for dinner and watched some with her. It was a fun and very HOT like 103 HOT day!!

Zac's funny

Nothings better during breakfast than having a bag of cereal and playing on your I-pod.

Valerie told me yesterday that Zac was counting, 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15.

She asked What about 4 and 5?

To which he replied....Oh don't you worry about them, we can get along without them.

This was probably due to Valerie saying the same thing about things that he wants, LOL Isn't that funny????
