Merry Christmas!!

The days before Christmas were very busy and before long it was Christmas Eve. We went to Deb's house. We had dinner and opened up gifts there. Here is Grandpa with the kids. Christmas eve, back at home, the kids left cookies and milk for Santa. He left the crumbs and added a Thank-you to the kids. ;-) Christmas Day, here are a bunch of pictures, Enjoy!!
Valerie and Tom got matching Bears hoodies and were being funny!!That was a summary of our Christmas. We all had fun and ate way too much food!!

Sleighs, Playdough and Snow!!

I had gotten some gingerbread sleighs that the kids could put together. It was the kind with the frosting and you add all the candies and well.....they weren't as interested as I thought they would be but they turned out cute. There was even a Santa in each sleigh. They did like playing with the play dough. Kaleb had gotten some new ones, so they were all nice and squishy, they all had fun with that. Don took Tyler out for a walk. Tyler got all bundled up which for any kid is a job. They went out the back door, down the street along the side of our house and Tyler was ready to come in, guess he had enough walking in the snow. Don couldn't convince him to keep walking, so the walk was from the back door, around and to the front door, LOL But Tyler liked it anyway.Later on, we took all the kids outside to play in the snow. Zac wasn't too sure at first. I don't think he really cared one way or the other, it didn't really mattered to him one bit, LOL

Grandpa carried him while Jess pulled the boys in the sled.

Tyler learned how to throw snowballs real quick and he threw them at me and Kaleb. Then pretty soon, Kaleb was throwing snowballs too, LOL

They had fun playing in the snow, and they all took really good naps that day, LOL

Seeing Santa Claus

WOW~~Time sure has flown and again I am behind LOL
We were so Happy that Scott, Jess and Tyler were able to come home for Christmas this year. Seems like we never get to see enough of them. First thing on the list of things to do was to go and see Santa a the mall, so the next day we headed off. All the boys had their 80% Naughty and 20% Nice shirts on, LOL After the picture, we took them to the play area and watched them have lots of fun!! You can jump off this big square and we were all sitting there and Tyler jumped off and missed Kaleb's head by an inch or so. I dont even think that either one of them even realized it, LOL

They all loved the slides: Pictures with Santa, play in the playground and had lunch at the mall, so it was a pretty fun day!!

The first phone call

Over Thanksgiving break we had to teach Kyla her phone number. Allissa made each number on a sheet of paper, and we hung them up on the wall. We would go over it and then take down a number until all the numbers were down and then she knew it. Well, it worked and she knows her phone number perfectly.
At school today she gave her phone number to her friend Haylen. Tonight the phone rang and it was her friend. This was Kyla's first phone call, LOL Here she is taking her call.... and talking.....
and talking.........and talking......

She is a girl that knows how to talk very good on the phone LOL Kim is just glad that it isnt a boy calling yet in kindergarten LOL

Our First Big Snow!!

We had a great Thanksgiving~~
*had 19 people over....
**accidently cooked the turkey upside down, but it made the while meat more tender, so
from now on the turkey will be cooked upside down...
***I had Valerie mix up the flour/water for the gravy and well...she added the drippings from
the turkey to it and shook it and it EXLODED!! all over her face, clothes and the kitchen...
****had a great game of spoons...
*****and ate way too much good food

So since then we have been on a lull. But....we did have our first Big snowfall Friday night. The kids were chompin at the bit to go outside and play. They kept buggin their mom and I said let them go play. Her only complaint was that it takes 30 min to get them all dressed and then they play 10 min or so, LOL I explained, you let them run and play, bring them in, feed them or give them a nice cup of Hot Chocolate and they will sleep like babies!!! Soo....they went and played outside. We put Kyla right to work shoveling...
I did have a slight mishap. I was coming down the steps and on the last step and it was a bit slippery but I didnt fall. Jazzi was out on her chain and my foot got tangled and I thought I got untangled only to find myself more tangled and then it happened. I went forward and landed face first right in the snow. LOL Camera went lens first in the snow too. Kim said What are you doing?? LOL Luckily she didnt have the camera cuz it wasnt a pretty sight!! LOL Anyway, the rest of the pictures will be slightly fuzzy due to the snow.
They had a blast....and their cheeks were rosy red and YES....they slept like babies!! LOL
Tyler, we cant wait to play with you in the snow!!
Friday was the first day we saw this~~~The SNOWPLOW!!! LOL
